Fun Fact: Gretna Green is famous for being the marriage capital of the UK! Every year around 5,000 couples get married here. 

The Windermere Lake District is known as "the most beautiful natural scenery in England" and is a famous tourist center. The lake was formed at the end of the last ice age and is located in a glacial valley running north-south across the Kumbrian Mountains. The lake is long and narrow, with the deepest point at the north end. The lake water is discharged by the Leven River. It is part of the Lake District National Park and has yacht entertainment activities in summer. Here, you can stroll in the lake area, which is called the "back garden" by the British, and enjoy the beautiful scenery along the way.

Take a boat tour of the lake area of Windermere to admire the lakes and mountains that overlook the villas in the valley like a fairy tale world. The steam train, left in the last industrial period in Britain, still maintain its former appearance. When the train leaves the station, it emits a huge steam mist that spreads throughout the station and disappears into the mountains through the old trestle bridge.

Stratford-upon-Avon is a world-famous destination known for being the birthplace of the world’s greatest playwriter: William Shakespeare. The University of Oxford is a collegiate research-based university in Oxford, England. There is evidence of teaching as early as 1096! This easily makes it the oldest university in the English-speaking world. Oxford has educated a wide range of notable alumni, including 28 prime ministers of the United Kingdom and many heads of state and government from all around the world. 

Churchill Manor was built in 1705, and British Prime Minister Winston Churchill was born here in 1874. At that time, Queen Anne gave hundreds of hectares of royal hunting grounds near Oxford to John Churchill, Duke of Marlborough (Winston Churchill's ancestor) in recognition of his glorious victory over the French army in August 1704. Churchill Manor is the largest private residence in the UK, known as more beautiful than the British Royal Palace. It took 17 years to complete. Many British people like to compare it with the Palace of Versailles, the largest palace in Europe.

Big Ben is the nickname for the Great Bell of the striking clock at the north end of the Palace of Westminster. The official name of the tower in which Big Ben is located was originally the Clock Tower. It was renamed the Elizabeth Tower in 2012 to mark the Diamond Jubilee of Elizabeth II. When completed in 1859, it was the largest and most accurate clock in the world. 

Westminster Abbey, also known as Westminster Abbey, is located on the north bank of the Thames. It is an Anglican chapel and the place where kings of all dynasties were crowned and royal family members held weddings. It is the location of the British state funeral mausoleum. In addition to royal family members, many celebrities including Newton and Churchill are also buried here. However, you can head to 10 Adam Street, only 800 meters (2,624 ft) away, where you can find a very similar door, now a hotspot, for tourists wanting to take a souvenir photo.

Buckingham Palace was built between 1703 and 1705. It is now the Queen's office and residence in London, the administrative headquarters of the royal family, and one of the few royal palaces still in use in the world. Like the Houses of Parliament, Tower Bridge and red double-decker buses, it is a symbol of London and even the whole of the United Kingdom.

The British Museum has a collection of more than 7 million cultural relics and treasures from all over the world. The number and variety of collections are rare in museums around the world. Because of the huge collection, the British Museum can almost display the entire civilization process of the world. Windsor Castle is located on a hill on the south bank of the Thames. It is a group of granite buildings with majestic momentum and grandeur.
