Please arrive at Punta Arenas Airport in Chile before 2pm. Antarctica 21st Century staff will pick you up at the airport and take you to the hotel. In the afternoon, we will go to the Explorers' House Base Camp to attend the mandatory pre-trip safety briefing, including important information about the Antarctic flight and the Antarctic tour guide. Then we will enjoy a welcome dinner, meet friends who have participated in the expedition together, and taste local specialties.

In just two hours, you can fly from Punta Arenas in Chile to King George Island in the South Shetland Islands to start your Antarctic adventure. The moment you step out of the hatch, you will feel the refreshing Antarctic air. After disembarking from the plane and passing through the Frei Research station in Chile and the Bellingshausen Research station in Russia (2 km), we will board the Antarctic cruise ship by rubber boat at the sea.

9. We reserve the right to cancel your trip for any reason prior to the scheduled departure date. The decision to cancel your trip is at our sole and absolute discretion. In the event of such a cancellation, we will refund all monies paid by the traveler or agent, including the deposit as stated above. In no event shall we be liable for any direct or indirect losses, known or unknown, or for any airfare, hotel or any other expenses that the traveler has or may incur.
We also reserve the right to change or delete any part of the itinerary at our sole discretion upon notice to the traveler (if practicable). Such itinerary changes shall not be deemed to be a cancellation of the trip by us. We will make every possible effort to ensure that the traveler's travel objectives are achieved.

在极区以及偏远地区航行时，您的探险队必须靠海况、冰情和天气的指引来确定路线和行程。这次提供的行程，是对您本次行程的初步说明。敬请注意，没有任何一个特定登陆点是可以完全确定的。同理，行程中提到的偶遇野生动物，是我们所期待的，但并不能保证实现。探险队将用他们的丰富经验在已知的栖息地寻找野生动物的踪迹，但是，我们并不能保证会遇见任何特定种类的鸟类或海洋生物。

应急预案-1：从蓬塔出发飞往南极的海空联航行程

在偶尔情况下，飞往南极的航班可能会提前到行程第一天的下午或晚上，此种情况下乘客会提前抵达南极洲。
如果飞往南极的航班无法在第二天根据计划起飞，在保证飞机和乘客安全以及天气等操作条件允许的情况下，船放将尽一切努力把旅行者送达南极，一直到行程第4天的下午2点。在此期间，会根据具体情况提供历史或自然景点游览，并安排相应的餐饮和住宿。（注，因天气原因延后起飞，致使南极船宿晚数减少或蓬塔晚数增加等变动，以及涉及行程的变动均听从于船方调整安排，南极行程的不确定性，还望客人理解配合。不会增减费用，除非客人自己额外自行开支需客人自行承担。）
· 如果直到行程第4天的下午2点，船方仍然无法把乘客送往南极，该行程会被终止。船方会为旅行者提供第4天的食宿和次日早餐，此外无其他餐饮或服务活动。最终预定管道不同，会退还已收到的全部南极海空联航费用。行程第5天会提供机场的团体送机服务，此外无其他餐饮或服务活动。退款将会在第一时间通过原支付管道退回，退款后我们不再承担进一步其他责任。

应急预案-2：结束时从南极返回蓬塔的海空联航行程

如果从南极返回蓬塔的航班被迫需要提前返回，乘客将会提前一天下船从南极飞回蓬塔。落地蓬塔后，我们会提供当天的接机和住宿等，其他的费用和服务与原行程保持相同。
如果从南极返回蓬塔的航班延误，乘客将在船上继续附近区域的巡游，等待返回蓬塔阿雷纳斯的航班能够起飞。在延迟超过2天且天气预报显示未来数日内航班仍无法起飞的极其罕见情况下，出于安全考虑，船长可能会选择航行驶回南美洲。船上的餐食、住宿以及游览活动费用都包含在探险费用之内。此种情形在抵达蓬塔阿雷纳斯后，行程将在机场结束，无其他任何退款。

The Sea-Air Antarctic Expedition is suitable for travelers with an adventurous spirit and good health. Antarctic adventure travel requires travelers to have an adventurous mentality and be able to adapt to the ever-changing environment. Carefully create a wilderness adventure essence for you: small expedition ships can take you deep into areas that large cruise ships cannot reach and appreciate the unique Antarctic scenery. At the same time, the smaller passenger capacity can ensure quick landing and give tourists the most time on shore in Antarctica. Note: The captain will decide the actual landing cruise location based on the actual weather, please understand!

When sailing in polar regions and remote areas, your expedition team must rely on sea conditions, ice conditions and weather to determine the route and itinerary. The itinerary provided this time is a preliminary description of your trip. Please note that no specific landing point can be completely determined. Similarly, the encounter with wildlife mentioned in the itinerary is what we expect, but it cannot be guaranteed to happen. The expedition team will use their rich experience to search for traces of wildlife in known habitats, but we cannot guarantee that we will encounter any specific species of birds or marine life.

Flights between Antarctica and Punta Arenas will be operated safely if weather and operational standards are met. In order to deal with possible Antarctic flight delays due to weather, a detailed contingency plan has been specially formulated as follows:

Contingency Plan 1: Air-sea flight from Punta to Antarctica

Occasionally, the flight to Antarctica may be advanced to the afternoon or evening of the first day of the trip, in which case passengers will arrive in Antarctica earlier.
If the flight to Antarctica cannot take off as planned on the second day, the ship will make every effort to deliver travelers to Antarctica until 2 pm on the fourth day of the trip, provided that the aircraft and passengers are safe and the weather and other operating conditions permit. During this period, historical or natural attractions will be provided according to the specific situation, and corresponding meals and accommodation will be arranged. (Note: Delayed departure due to weather reasons, resulting in fewer nights in Antarctica or more nights in Punta, as well as changes in the itinerary, are subject to the ship's adjustment arrangements. The uncertainty of the Antarctic itinerary is also expected that guests will understand and cooperate. There will be no increase or decrease in fees, unless the guests incur additional expenses at their own expense.)
If the ship is still unable to deliver passengers to Antarctica until 2 pm on the fourth day of the trip, the trip will be terminated. The ship will provide travelers with accommodation and breakfast for the fourth day and breakfast for the next day, and there will be no other catering or service activities. If the final booking channel is different, all Antarctic air and sea flight fees received will be refunded. Group airport drop-off service will be provided on the 5th day of the trip, and there will be no other catering or service activities. The refund will be returned through the original payment channel as soon as possible, and we will not bear any further responsibility after the refund.

Contingency Plan 2: Air-sea trip from Antarctica back to Punta at the end

If the flight from Antarctica to Punta is forced to return early, passengers will disembark one day in advance and fly back to Punta from Antarctica. After landing in Punta, we will provide airport pick-up and accommodation on the same day, and other fees and services remain the same as the original itinerary.
If the flight back to Punta from Antarctica is delayed, passengers will continue to cruise the surrounding area on board the ship until the flight back to Punta Arenas can take off. In extremely rare cases where the delay exceeds 2 days and the weather forecast shows that the flight will not be able to take off in the next few days, the captain may choose to sail back to South America for safety reasons. Meals, accommodation and excursions on board are included in the expedition fee. In this case, the trip will end at the airport after arriving in Punta Arenas, and no other refunds will be made.
